First Sino-Italian Joint Workshop on Protection of Cultural Heritage From Earthquake-Induced Risk

On September 24 and 25, the first Sino-Italian joint workshop on Protection of Cultural Heritage From Earthquake-Induced Risk was held at the University of Padua, Italy. The delegations of experts and scholars from China and Italy gave an academic report on the protection of ancient buildings, and the Party Committee Secretary of Guangzhou University,  Professor Qu Shaobing, Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Division Liang Biru, Deputy Director of the Research Office Ma Yuhong, Dean of the School of Literature, Professor Ji Dejun, Professor of the University of Padua, Italy, Professor Rosario Rizzuto, Vice President Professor Francesca da Porto, University of Padua China Office Relevant teachers attended the meeting. On the afternoon of the 25th, the Party Secretary of the Party Committee, Qu Shaobing, and the Chinese Counsellor of the Italian Consulate General Luo Ping summarized the conference. After the meeting, the two sides discussed the next specific work content of the Sino-Italian International Joint Research Center for Historic Buildings and Cultural Heritage.
