The Secretariat Office is excited to announce Durban University of Technology will host our 2025 Urban Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition.

This competition will be held from March to November 2025 and is for all members and affiliate members of our Alliance. This year’s theme is “Further Promoting Sustainable Urban Development” focusing on the United Nations Sustainability Goals to Transform Out World. Competition awards and bonuses include almost 300,000 RMB or its equivalent less any applicable taxes.

In-School Preliminary Competitions are to be completed by June 13, 2025 with the Online Semi-Final Competition to be held on July 11, 2025. The Final Competition will be held both virtually and in-person in Durban, South Africa in late October or November (this exact date will be announced this spring).
